| Can
my spouse and I resolve issues without the intervention
of the Court? |

| Yes.
Spouses are always encouraged to resolve the issues of
their divorce between themselves, either by mutual agreement
or with the help of a mediator. Any agreement formulated
should be in writing, signed by both spouses, and later
filed with the Court - usually incorporated into the final
Judgment. However, in the event spouse's are not able to
reach an amicable solution to the various issues, the Court
will be required to intervene and make appropriate orders
based upon California law. |
