Private: Typically, parents require the establishment of an initial child support order or a modification of prior orders.      Governmental: Oftentimes, the County (through the Department of Child Support Services) is involved for enforcement of child support and/or reimbursement of welfare benefits. In that event, Family Law Assistance Center, Inc. is able to assist by preparing all necessary documents including, but not limited to, child support arrearage calculations, to help you plan for any upcoming hearing.
     Wage Assignments: Once child support has been determined by the court, the necessary wage assignment orders may be prepared and submitted to the court for issuance, and then processed to the payor's employer for withholding.
